I was conducting a little research today on a book written by British author Edward Lear, when I got somewhat sidetracked by an incredible find…

Turns out that Mr. Lear was not only a successful author, he was an incredibly gifted artist as well with a particular passion for illustrating animals. While researching my book, I ran across another rare book by Mr. Lear called, Illustrations of the Family of the Psittacidae, or Parrots”. It’s the wonderful lithographs from this book that I want to share here with you today…
